The five-minute version
What to say, in order
Five minutes is one idea, one number and one ask. The Atlas is 21,000 words and the memo is six pages — neither survives this slot. Say these four things, then open the link and let them touch it.
0:00The idea
"Every lender's borrower app is a form. Ours puts the borrower's actual loan officer in the room — name, photo, voice, on every screen, answering questions at 10pm. And it never quotes a rate, because it structurally can't."
Lead with the differentiator, not the project. If they remember one sentence, this is the one.
1:00The number
"Floify is $79 per user per month. At our 300-LO recruiting target that's $284,400 a year — for the entry-tier document tool. The bill scales with exactly the thing our strategy is built to maximize."
This is the sentence that makes a CFO lean in. It is a growth tax, and it is verifiable.
2:00The honesty
"I'm not asking you to approve a build today. We don't have a costed estimate from our own dev team, and we haven't pulled our own Floify baseline. Comparing a priced vendor to an unpriced build isn't a comparison."
This is what earns the room. You are the person who said "not yet" before anyone had to ask.
3:00The ask — the only thing you need
"I'm asking for a two-week decision sprint: vendor quotes at 100 and 300 seats, a costed build estimate, an API feasibility check, and our Floify baseline. No commitment, no contract. Then we decide with numbers on the table."
If the meeting gets cut short, this is the sentence that must be said out loud.

If you only win one thing
Get someone to own the Floify baseline pull — completion rate, cycle time, mobile share.
It costs nothing, blocks nothing, is useful under every outcome including "do nothing," and
without it we can never prove this worked. That is a yes you can get in thirty seconds.
If they ask
"How much will it cost to build?"
"I don't know yet — that's deliverable #2 of the sprint." Don't guess a number in the room. Guessing is how this becomes your number forever.
"Why not just buy it?"
"We might. There's a third option in there — buy the commodity 96 features, build only the 25 that differentiate us. Two vendor calls tell us if it's real."
"Is the AI going to get us in trouble?"
"It's blocked from quoting rates, approving anyone, or giving advice — enforced in the system, not in a policy. And there's an open question for counsel I flagged myself, on the SAFE Act."
"Isn't this just the Nacho project?"
"No — different thing." Nacho is the back office; Sharon owns that. This is the borrower's front door. It hands off to the LOS, it doesn't replace it.
"Who built all this?"
"I authored it. My AI assistant, Willis, did the research, source-verified every figure, then reviewed my own draft and found seven corrections — they're listed on page one."
"When could we see something real?"
"Pilot with 3–5 volunteer LOs on a 31-feature slice — not all 121. Floify keeps running in parallel. We expand only if it beats the baseline."
Don't do these
Send the right file to the right people.
Leadership: the link, and the six-page memo — that's the whole ask. The dev team: the complete document, which opens with a routing table telling each reader exactly which parts are theirs. Sending leadership 21,000 words reads as "please read this for me."
Don't show the competitor matrix to anyone outside CLEAR.
The cells aren't independently verified yet. One vendor disproving one cell discredits the other fifteen. It's flagged in the appendix.
Don't say "the Atlas" without saying which one.
VERONTECH has three documents by that name. Say "the Borrower Experience Atlas" the first time.
Don't promise a launch date.
There's no schedule in the spec because no one has estimated it. A date invented in a meeting becomes a date you're measured against.
